NOTE

Day/Night Roller blinds come supplied with 2 installation brackets. Also supplied are 20mm self tapping screws for use when fixing to timber.

BRACKETS: There are two brackets provided per blind. The first bracket is the Chain Drive and the other is the Pin End bracket. The Chain Drive bracket goes to the side that has the operating chain.

FACE MOUNT

Position and screw the brackets flush at the end of the window frame and screw into place using 2 screws per bracket. If you do not have architraves and have added measurements on to the blind, position and fix the brackets accordingly. The chain drive bracket will go to the side that you have allocated to have the control chain.

RECESS MOUNT

Generall when purchasing Day/Night blinds we reccomend a facia fit unless there is a deep recess in which case a recess mount can be used. When you place the order our factory deducts 5mm off of the width of your window opening. This is to ensure that the blinds operates correctly and efficiently and allows clearance for mounting to prevent tight installations. Position the Chain Drive bracket as far back in the recess as possible, if you have limited depth then position the bracket forward and fix into place. This will however result in the blind protruding forward. Mount the pin end bracket a few millimetres in from the edge of the reveal. Recess bracets have the option to screw into place via top mounting of side mounting. We generally reccomend using the top mounting holes.

POSITIONING THE BLIND

Install the Light Filtered or Sunscreen blind (standard) first closest to the window pane by slotting the blind into the chain end bracket first. Next slot the pin end into the bracket, making sure the blind is securely clicked into each bracket before you attempt to open or close the blind. If installing a large blind two people will be required to eliminate risk of dropping and damaging the blind. Now repeat the procedure for the Blockout blind (reverse)
